Terms and Conditions

All information given in this website is based on the information available at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change any information before or after your booking the tour due to any events beyond our control. In case if we are aware of any changes sufficiently in advance we will notify you at the time of booking, otherwise our Tour Manager or Local representative will inform you of the changes. Major road works may necessitate route changes in the itineraries, the restaurants may close or change management and all of these may cause us to make changes in the itineraries. Where we may know of these sufficiently in advance, we will notify you, otherwise our Tour Managers or local representative will inform you of the changes on the spot.


Accommodation provided is generally on a twin sharing bases so single occupancy, arising for whatever reason, will cost more. Extra bed will also be charges as per hotel specified rates. Guests will have to abide by the check-in/out time of the respective hotels. Early arrivals/late departures or overstays due for whatever reason is the responsibility of the guests themselves. Use of hotel services and amenities are the responsibility of the guests.


There is a pre-set menu for meals as per the tour program. We reserve the right to change the meal arrangements if circumstances demand us to do so. A tour participant missing a meal for whatever reason can not the meal missed.


Our cars are allotted on the booking priority basis. Each transport operators have their own set of rules that must be complied. The company is not liable to any dispute arising from non-compliance of such rules. Any damages caused by you during the travel shall be payable by you.

Safety and Health Matters

All baggage and personal effects shall be at all times and in all circumstances, the responsibility of passengers. INDIAN TRAVEL STORE is not responsible for any type of loss and damage (baggage or person). Health matters should be the sole responsibility of the traveler. Adequate travel insurance cover is strongly recommended. It shall be duty of the guest to inform the Company of any medical condition(s) that may affect his ability to undertake the activities or could negatively affect the interest of the group. Under such situation, the Company reserves the right to deny the guest participation in some of the activities with no refund.

Itinerary Changes

Sometimes we may make amendments to the itinerary, due to unforeseen developments such as unavailability of sights, adverse climatic conditions etc. In some cases such changes could mean extra charges but you will be informed of the complete details. In the event of the Company exercising its rights to amend any aspect of the services, the guest(s) shall have to continue with the program as amended.

PAYMENTS: For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in INDIA but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnels hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.
Apart from above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance.

MODE OF PAYMENT: Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank
In the event of cancellation of travel arrangements due to any reasons – we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the time/date we receive your intimation in writing. Cancellation fees as below apply to the land packages and/or services.

120 days prior to arrival – 10% of the Tour.
120 - 61 days prior to arrival – 25% of the Tour.
60 - 31 days prior to arrival – 40% of the Tour.
30 - 07 days prior to arrival – 75% of the Tour.
06 days - 72 hours prior to arrival - 90% of the Tour.
Less than 72 hours or No Show – No Refund.

For any train or flights tickets involved, the refund will be applicable as per the advised cancellation policy at the time of booking.

The deposits on the tours having special offers are NON-REFUNDABLE.

In case of special train journey and high peak season bookings (from 20th April to 10th July & 20th Dec to 15th Jan) a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).


In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 - 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.

No refund or reduction will be made to any member in respect of airfare, accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fare out not utilized by the tour member due to personal reasons.
Please Note: At the time of check out we don’t accept any cheques, any type of credit card or debit card (the final payment will made by cash or demand draft)


For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products including tours by the Agency and third party products and tours, arranged or co-coordinated by the Company shall be construed according to current Indian laws only and shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts in Kullu Manali Himachal Pradesh only. All tours are subject to laws, rules of RBI / Govt. of India

Upon signing the booking form, the above-mentioned terms & conditions shall be binding on both the Agency and the Client and shall become the only basis of relations between the parties and all previous communication in whatsoever form or mode whether oral or otherwise, with respect to any terms & conditions of the tour and services shall stand cancelled / revoked / terminated.


Shane Manali Tour & Travelsis registered under Tourism of Department & Aviation .It is well known for its optimum services available at very reasonable prices. We have numerous suppliers all over the world and we work day and night to change your fascinating dreams into reality.
While serving our customer we try our best to fulfill what we have committed. However in few cases we will not be not being held any liability which is as follows:
Booking made directly from online booking portals without consulting us.
We shall not be liable for any un-availed services by the customer and this amount will not be refunded/adjusted in any another services.

Situations beyond our control: Force Majeure (Natural Disasters, Harsh Climatic Conditions etc), Strikes, Personal Injuries, Property Damage, Hotels/Airlines under government surveillance, Government Control/Union policies in particular area etc. In these cases, No Refund policy will be implemented and customer might have to bear cancellation charges or any additional expense caused by these circumstances. Though we will provide full co-operation during these incidents and we expect the same from you.

Our contents and website are well protected by various Anti-Viruses and anti-hacking devices still due to ever increasing technology your personal data might be at risk. SometimesShane Manali Tour & Travelsact as an intermediary between you & third party, whatever information is directed to us is conveyed to you. In case they fail to abide by their words we shall not be liable or blamed for service dissatisfaction and the matter should be resolved between you and the third party.

In addition to that the above given “accuracy of the site” policy is also applicable on the user.


All passengers are required to complete a Passenger Agreement prior to travel and, by so doing, formally accept Shane Manali Tour & Travels Terms & Conditions, Release from Liability, Assumption of Risk and Binding Arbitration Agreement. Passengers booking online will be required to complete the Passenger Agreement at the time of booking. Passengers booking via telephone will be provided a verbal review of the Passenger Agreement which will be delivered via email shortly after the time of booking. Customers who are unable to receive and complete their Passenger Agreement via email may request the Agreement be provided via fax or mail. Travel documents will not be released without a completed Passenger Agreement. Shane Manali Tour & Travels reserves the right to cancel bookings and return deposits without a completed Passenger Agreement.
